Led by Imelda Spencer, Founding Director and NSPCC-accredited Child Protection Trainer, Positive Resolutions Plus delivers training , school safeguarding audits, workshops, and consultations on how to protect the children you work with in schools and nurseries
We aim to inform you and your teams on how to act in accordance with all current UK safeguarding legislation and DfE guidance, Ofsted, Estyn, ISI, local guidance and your school/nursery procedures; protect young people, children, and staff in the workplace; and empower you to find solutions.
ABOUT
Imelda Spencer of Positive Resolutions Plus has had immense experience within the field of education and safeguarding, having been a teacher and SENDCo for 16 years. She was Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and part of the SLT team. For 9 years, she worked as a Family Support Worker for 6 primary schools- managing and referring cases in accordance with WT, Children Acts 1989 and 2004, all DfE statutory and non-statutory guidance, and local safeguarding children partnership procedures.
She is an independent NSPCC-accredited Safeguarding Trainer, delivering statutory and bespoke safeguarding training programmes, and conducts whole school safeguarding audits.
Imelda additionally delivers training as an Associate Trainer/Consultant for Children in Wales.
